Decarbonisation Grant

Order 96/2025 of the 23rd of March establishes the regulatory basis and calls for applications for grants under a non-competitive award procedure to promote renewable electricity generation, self-consumption and decarbonisation in the Canary Islands, within the framework of the Sustainable Energy Strategy for the Canary Islands (Programmes 2 and 3), financed by the European Union’s Next Generation EU funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Component 7, Investment 2).

Anfi Tauro Resorts Management, S.L., which has been implementing sustainability improvement measures in recent years and remains committed to the decarbonisation of the energy sector, is promoting the installation of a  solar photovoltaic system of self-consumption without surplus of 67.10 kWp in the municipality of Mogán, through the grant awarded for this purpose under Order 96/2025.

This initiative will significantly reduce demand on the electrical grid, thereby contributing to the island’s decarbonisation.

The project represents a total investment of € 87,902.11, with grant funding amounting to € 51,573.44.
