On this tour we will take you on a journey through the north of Gran Canaria that will stimulate all your senses. We start by visiting the famous Arehucas rum factory (in Arucas) where the smell of sugar cane welcomes us. Here you'll discover the secrets behind this iconic Canarian drink: from fermentation to distillation, you'll learn how sugar cane is transformed into the smooth and tantalising rum we all love. Don't miss the chance to taste some of the most exquisite varieties straight from the source! Want a tip? Be sure to try the Carta Oro, its intense flavour will surprise you! Here, in Arucas, we will continue with a visit to the Banana Museum: a fascinating journey through the history, diversity and cultural importance of the banana in the islands. From its arrival in the Canary Islands to its role today, discover how the yellow variety with brown speckles has been an integral part of Gran Canaria's identity. You can also buy a variety of products made from this fruit, such as wines, liqueurs, pâtés and creams, and get in touch with our culinary culture!

Finally, we head north to Agaete where a fascinating world of multiple flavours awaits us: from intense coffee (some of the best in the Canary Islands) to wines at our finca, including a workshop on Canarian mojo. Let yourself be captivated by the intoxicating aromas as you stroll among the vines and learn about the winemaking process in these volcanic lands, explore the local varieties and enjoy a unique experience from the Canary Islands' award-winning wine professionals! Reds, dry and semi-dry, do you know which one to start with? And to crown this gastronomic journey, we invite you to take part in a workshop on how to make mojo canario, the emblematic sauce of the Canary Islands.

A complete experience that takes you to the history of our island. Discover and visit a village of caves in one of the most spectacular ravines of Gran Canaria, "Guayadeque". Driving past the picturesque typical village of Agüimes (old aboriginal quarter) we arrive at our next visit to an Aloe Vera plantation. Test on your own skin the magnificent properties of this plant. Reaching the north, stroll through the beautiful streets of the smallest "county" on the island, "Firgas". We pass small farms full of traditional crops. The interior of the island shows us its green heart, deep canyons and breathtaking mountain scenery as well as the majestic "Roque Nublo". After reaching the summit, we continue our route surrounded by Canarian pines and the almond trees of Ayacata. We visit the village of Fataga known as “Valley of the thousand palm trees”.

Why should you pay more? Visit two markets for the price of one! In the green heart of the island, our first stop, takes us to the typical village of San Mateo and its traditional market where you can enjoy typical Canarian folklore and dances, Canarian handicrafts, a flea market and a flower and products market that you can buy at an excellent price. The next stop is in Teror, pilgrimage village and the “Jewel of the North”, with its narrow streets and wooden Canarian balconies. Get to know the church and the Patroness of the island, our Lady of the Pine. Surrounding the church and the town square is one of the most popular markets in the Canary Islands, local specialities such as the “chorizo de Teror”, blood sausage, cheeses, Canarian wines, sweets and more typical products will delight the visitors. In short, it is your chance to get to know the Canarians, which will be an unforgettable experience for you.

On this trip, you get to know a little fishermen village converted into one of the most picturesque and pretty resorts on Gran Canaria. You can even choose between enjoying a fascinating boat ride from Puerto Rico to Mogán or enjoy the coastal scenery by bus to Mogán harbour. The Harbour of Mogán is renowned for its multi-coloured bougainvillea plants, colonial architectural style and canals, which have given Mogán the nickname “Little Venice”. Take a stroll along the modern sports marina, with its typical shops and cafés. On Fridays, you can take advantage of the Canarian market, with typical island products. We stop in Puerto Rico to take some pictures and you can take a little walk.

From Monday to Saturday

Starting from Maspalomas we drive to Mirador las Moscas, have a short Photostop ( we can watch the Dunes from there) to then go to Fataga Village, visit the old centre with time to take a coffee and use toiletts. Passing by San Bartolomé de Tirajana, we drive up to Ayacata and Tejeda, the highest point in the area. In Antique Centre of Tejeda we can taste local almond cakes. Our way brings us to Cave houses in Artenara, one of the most important Attractions of our Island.

We continue our way making a stop at Monte Pavon Mirador to take some photos of Las Palmas de GC and Tenerife .

After having a typical canarian Lunch (optional), we drive along the north coast watching banana plantations and the brave North Sea and we cross the Capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to take highway back to south.

Come and enjoy the most visited places on the island of Gran Canaria, such as the capital, and places of interest such as the old town of Vegueta or the panoramic view of the maritime avenue, a long walk that runs along most of the capital. It is also a great opportunity to visit Las Canteras beach: one of the best urban beaches in the world or to visit the impressive Bandama boiler. This guided day trip is the perfect opportunity to visit the capital of Gran Canaria. Food NOT included.

• Stroll through Vegueta (approx. 1 hour: 20 min. guided tour and 40 min. free time)

Together we’ll explore the most beautiful valleys of Gran Canaria, we start our journey along the east coast untill we reach Arucas where we visit the unique “Neo-gothic” church of Saint John. Climbing up through the center of the island with magnificent views of the north.

Once in Teror, the pilgrimage village, we find the typical architecture of the island: Canarian balconies and the basilica. Hidden away, we discover the green core of the island, deep valleys and stunning mountain views including the majestic Roque Nublo and Teide.

Once over the peak, we carry on past the almond trees of Ayacata and continue passing by the villages of San Bartolomé Fataga. Finally, we visit an Aloe Vera plantation where you can try on your own skin its magnificent properties. (Full day)

DISCOVERY PICOS DELUXE

We start the route from Playa del Ingles following the coast towards Tafira passing through the vineyards to reach the Bandama Volcano, a large volcanic caldera produced around the year 47 and 123 AD. We will stop at the Mirador to contemplate its large crater and admire its panoramic views. We continue the route to Pico de las Nieves , highest mountain of the island and enjoy spectacular and unique views, passing through San Mateo and Santa Brigida.

Next, we will see Caldera de Marteles on the way to visit the Guayadeque ravine, well known for its cave houses, where we can have a typical Canarian lunch( opcional) in one of the famous Cave Restaurants ! Following we pass by Agüimes Village on our way back to the hotels.
